What Does Total Activity (TA) Mean?
Total Activity (TA) is an independently lab-measured rating of a honey’s natural activity. On Jarrah honey it is tested batch by batch and printed on the jar, so the number on the label is backed by a laboratory analysis rather than a marketing claim.
What the number means. A higher TA figure indicates a higher measured level of natural activity in that batch. Jarrah is a peroxide-activity honey — its activity comes largely from naturally occurring hydrogen peroxide produced in the honey — which is measured and expressed as the TA rating.
The grade ladder. Jarrah is offered across grades such as TA35, TA44 and TA55+, with TA55+ being the highest standard grade. The figure lets you compare batches on a like-for-like, lab-verified basis.
How to check it. Every jar shows its grade, and analysis results are available on request. See our Quality & Certification page for how each batch is tested and documented.
